Financial Assistance Applications

Families can apply for tuition Financial Assistance through the Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children and FACTS Financial Assistance. Families must complete both applications to be eligible for finanical assistance. There are separate fees for each of these applications.

1. The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC). Due 4/25/24.

• Applicants for SFIC must complete the application and submit all documentation to reach VERIFIED status by 4/25/24.
• Any awards granted by the SFIC are used to support the Financial Aid awarded by Koinonia Academy. The SFIC awards are not in addition to what KA awards.

2. FACTS Financial Assistance Application. Due 4/25/24.

• Applicants for FACTS Financial Assistance must complete the application and submit all documentation to reach VERIFIED status by 4/25/24.
• Our aid awards are based on FACTS Recommended Financial Aid.

Notes:
When completing both applications, we strongly suggest that you upload the electronic (.pdf) copy of your full tax return from your accountant to avoid delays.

4/15/24  Early Registration Fee Deadline. Pay the $150 registration Incidental Bill by this date to avoid additional fees.
4/16/24  Registration Fee increases to $250 (An additional Incidental Bill for $100 will be created)
4/25/24  SFIC Inner-City Scholarship Fund & FACTS Financial Assistance Application Deadline (***two separate applications***)
5/16/24  Registration Fee increases to $300 (An additional Incidental Bill for $50 will be created)
5/31/24  Financial Aid Awards will be communicated on or before this date.
6/1/24-6/7/24  Financial Aid Appeal Window
6/21/24  Financial Aid Appeal decisions will be communicated on or before this date.
