From now through May 16th, we’re inviting our entire community to rally behind the mission of inspiring courageous lives of personal holiness, virtue, and wisdom through authentic Catholic education. Your generosity fuels everything we do at Koinonia Academy.
To kick off the week, I want you to hear directly from the ones most impacted by your support—our students.
If you ask a KA student what this place means to them, you’ll never get the same answer twice—but every answer points back to the same thing: this school is changing lives.
Rosa remembers the first time she walked into KA. "It was Pre-K, a new school, new friends, new teachers and my little brain couldn't take it! But as soon as I entered the classroom I felt this love, and I have been feeling this love everyday, whether it's from my friends, my beloved teachers, and mostly from KA's daily prayer time. KA is a school of faith, hope, and so much love."
That care, that pursuit of truth, often leads students to discover their deepest purpose <<
Gregory puts it like this: “At KA, I've had so many opportunities to grow in my faith. The weekly Rosary, praise and worship, Adoration, and most of all, Mass, have been a true blessing in my life. Between those and the kindness of some people I'm extremely grateful to call my friends, I've grown to pray for discernment of my future vocation and have come to the belief that God is calling me to the priesthood. I'll continue to pray for further clarity in the future but I never would have gotten to where I am today without KA."
“In fourth grade, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I was young, confused, and scared. I questioned everything—even God. I was in 7th grade when she passed away. This was the worst heartbreak of my life, but my friends, teachers, and the community at KA made me feel so loved and helped me understand that God allows suffering to develop us into better people. I soon began to realize that this is the path that God wants me to be on. That Koinonia was placed in my life to help get me closer to God and expand my relationship with Him to be able to experience His infinite love for me."
